Cloud Network Engineer About the Role We are the Global Shared Services Centre for a major client RGE (Royal Golden Eagle), one of the world’s largest resource-based manufacturing groups with diversified business in Pulp and Paper, Palm Oil (upstream & downstream), Viscose Fiber, FMCG, Energy, and other business segments. As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will support the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based network services across AWS, or multi-cloud environments. Working alongside senior engineers, you will gain hands-on experience in enterprise networking, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, and network security as the Group accelerates its cloud transformation journey. Key Responsibilities - Assist in the design, configuration, and troubleshooting of cloud networking components including Virtual Networks (VNets/VPCs), subnets, route tables, network security groups (NSGs), and peering connections. - Support SD-WAN deployment and management across global sites including mills, plantations, offices, and distribution centres. - Monitor network performance and availability using tools such as SolarWinds, Datadog, or AWS CloudWatch, and escalate incidents as required. Assist in configuring and managing VPN tunnels (site-to-site and point-to-site), ExpressRoute / Direct Connect circuits, and hybrid cloud connectivity. - Support firewall rule management, access control lists (ACLs), and network segmentation in alignment with cybersecurity policies. - Participate in network c
