Toast is looking for a Staff Software engineer to lead our Enterprise Sports & Entertainment team. You will get to work across the entire Toast platform, including our POS, backend, and front end systems. As a member of the Enterprise Sports & Entertainment team, you will help deliver the most important features for our Sports & Entertainment and hospitality customers and directly impact Toast’s success. A day in the life (Responsibilities) Design, build, deploy, and maintain highly resilient and scalable features across Toast’s Sports & Entertainment product offerings Lead complex projects that improve functionality and reliability for our customers Partner with a wide array of teams across Toast Ensure quality by building automated testing for changes Roll* features out to customers, including monitoring for success Partner closely with Design and Product on the definition and design of features Partner with cross-functional functions including Customer Success, Solutions, Sales, Care, and Onboarding to ensure technical deliverables align with enterprise customer expectations and long-term strategy Mentor and coach other engineers Leverage cutting edge AI tools to enhance your development workflow, improve velocity, and help pioneer new approaches to building - contributing to a culture of
