Location: Warsaw, Poland Work model: Hybrid – 1 day in the Warsaw office every 1–2 months Project: Financial Reporting | SCIB IT About the Project We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Developer – Big Data to join the Financial Reporting team within SCIB IT. You will contribute to the development of global data solutions supporting regulatory reporting across multiple geographical locations. The team focuses on building scalable, reliable, and efficient data products that improve reporting capabilities, reduce operational risks, and support business needs across the Group. The team works in an Agile/Scrum environment, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, continuous delivery, and code quality. Technology stack: Scala, Apache Spark, Python, Java, SQL/HQL, Airflow, Control-M, Jenkins, GitHub, Hive, Databricks, Azure, S3, and Maven. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend and Big Data solutions for regulatory reporting. Build and optimize Apache Spark applications, primarily using Scala. Develop and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines, including data ingestion, transformation, validation, and business logic. Integrate data from multiple sources and support API- and microservices-based solutions. Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Analysts, and development teams across different locations. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery. Ensure high code quality through unit testing, automation, code reviews,
