Description

Our client, a Leading Consumer Bank, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position. Responsibilities:- Subject Matter Expert (SME) & Project Leadership: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for major banking projects. Drive the planning, design, and implementation of highly available UNIX / Linux and Cloud systems. Advanced System Engineering: Lead complex system evaluations, capacity planning, performance tuning, and security baseline engineering. Plan and execute large-scale upgrades and migrations for end-of-support hardware / software. Level 2 Escalation & Troubleshooting: Serve as the highest point of internal technical escalation for complex incidents. Perform deep-dive root cause analysis (Problem Management) and liaise with enterprise vendors (IBM, RedHat, AWS) for critical bug fixes. Automation & Modernization: Drive infrastructure automation and DevOps practices. Design and implement scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Python) to eliminate manual toil and streamline TD operational procedures. Cross-Functional Coordination: Provide authoritative technical advice to application development teams, operations staff, and IT management. Ensure seamless technical coordination between Application and Infrastructure teams during largescale deployments. Mentorship & Governance: Mentor junior (Level 1) engineers, create technical documentation / runbooks, and ensure all systems strictly adhere to banking regulatory standards and IT policies
