Summary The role of the Automotive Software Validation Engineer is to oversee the validation activities for automotive electronics products, ensuring that software meets the required standards and performs efficiently within the automotive domain. Responsibilities Responsible for creating and executing automated and manual DVP (Design Verification Plan). Interact with the team leader to discuss issues, hurdles, and improvement areas on a daily basis. Raise bugs using a bug-tracking tool and monitor their progress. Develop plans to execute various tests effectively. Create positive and negative test scenarios to ensure robust testing. Debug issues and perform ECU flashing with the latest build, followed by smoke tests. Conduct peer reviews among team members. Validate systems using different testing techniques and ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards. Ensure software is updated with the latest features. Key Requirements Bachelor/Master of Engineering degree in Electronics. 5+ years of experience in Automotive Software Validation domain. At least 3+ years of experience in Automotive Infotainment Validation. Strong understanding of Automotive Infotainment Systems and their validation. Hands-on experience in gray box testing. Hands-on experience in automation for Infotainment ECU. Good knowledge of software requirements understanding. Experience in creating and executing test cases/test plans. Core experience in testing Infotainment features like Bluetoot
