Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to identify test scenarios. Participate in requirement review sessions to ensure clarity and testability. Estimate testing effort for assigned tasks and contribute to overall test planning. Design comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on functional and non-functional requirements. Maintain clear, structured, and reusable test documentation. Review test cases with the QA team, developers, and business users (if required). Execute manual test cases across various environments (Dev, SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod). Perform functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance support. Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing as needed. Identify, analyze, and document defects clearly with step-by-step reproduction details. Log defects in tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Redmine). Work closely with developers and business analysts to clarify issues and ensure timely resolution. Collaborate with the development team to understand technical behavior and dependencies. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and testing sync meetings. Communicate test progress, risks, and blockers to the project team. Ensure deliverables meet the quality standards defined by the organization or project. Suggest improvements for test processes, test coverage, and workflow efficiency.
