Role Overview The Informatica Data Lead partners with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to deliver end-to-end data solutions for client projects. This role leads ETL design and development, database engineering, data modeling, performance tuning, and data governance practices across MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments. Key Duties & Responsibilities Collaborate with Solution Architect and BAs to design, evaluate, and deliver high-quality end-to-end data solutions for client engagements. Engage non-technical subject matter experts to understand and explain data behavior, patterns, and characteristics in an accessible way. Work cross-functionally to resolve data and process issues, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. Use standard data modeling, data flow, and documentation tools to analyze, document, and present data analysis outputs. Plan and develop ETL and data preparation/aggregation processes from multiple sources into MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL databases. Maintain and optimize ETL pipelines to meet evolving requirements and changing upstream/downstream dependencies. Participate in MS SQL code reviews and guide SQL and ETL best practices. Review and validate database schema changes to ensure alignment with data architecture and downstream impacts. Develop and optimize T-SQL components (stored procedures, functions, inline SQL) and work confidently with database structures.
