Senior Software Engineer (Remote US based) Security Journey is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing development team adding and updating features on its Enterprise AI Training and Capability Platform. We work as a close-knit team, utilizing generative AI to enhance our hard-won software development skills and enabling us to work effectively across all layers of the platform. We are a remote-first company with an office in Apex, NC for optional in-person collaboration. Tech we use: A wide variety of LLM models, harnesses, and tools AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform Postgres Go, Rails, Kafka, some Python React (TypeScript) We are looking for: 5 or more years practical development experience, especially on the backend Excellent understanding of software engineering best practices along with a strong desire to produce excellent code that is secure, maintainable, and scaleable High level of ability to engage with product management, customer support, and clients to understand problems and collaborate on solutions Ability to work well both individually and in the team context Cybersecurity interest or experience Experience with microservices or other service-based distributed systems Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, AD&D, 401k and Unlimited PTO About Security Journey Security Journey is the Enterprise AI Training & Capability Platform, helping organizations build the skills to use AI better and more securely.
