The Laboratory Systems Technical Analyst serves as the technical and operational bridge among Laboratory Services, Information Technology, clinical operations, technology vendors, and external laboratory partners. This position supports the systems, interfaces, instruments, and workflows required for accurate and timely laboratory order processing and result delivery. Key responsibilities include administering and optimizing the Laboratory Information System (LIS), supporting LIS-to-EMR interfaces, maintaining analyzer and middleware connectivity, troubleshooting technical and workflow issues, supporting new test implementations, and protecting laboratory data integrity. The analyst works collaboratively across technical, clinical, and operational teams to maintain reliable laboratory services, support organizational growth, and ensure laboratory systems and electronic records meet applicable quality, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
