Position Summary: The Platform Engineering Intern gains hands-on experience with the platforms and DevOps toolchain (ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, GitHub) that support GreatAmerica's technology operations, working alongside experienced engineers on maintenance, monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has an interest in cloud technologies, infrastructure, and automation, and in the reliable operation of enterprise technology platforms. GreatAmerica's internship program is designed to build foundational technical and business knowledge while building bench strength for our platform engineering roles. Our internships often turn into full-time employment opportunities for students! Essential Functions: Collaborate with platform engineers to support the configuration, maintenance, and improvement of GreatAmerica's core enterprise platforms. Assist with automation and CI/CD pipeline exposure (Azure DevOps, GitHub) and help troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
