The Opportunity Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Server Database Administration Manager to join our IT/TDS team. In this role, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our enterprise databases. You will take a lead role in database troubleshooting, and optimization, ensuring that our critical data systems operate at peak efficiency with maximum up time. You will also mentor other team members and collaborate closely with software developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders. What You Will Do Database Management & Maintenance: Install, configure, upgrade CU patches and manage Microsoft SQL Server environments (on-premises and cloud). This not only includes SQL but Window’s cluster configuration as well. Performance Tuning & Optimization: Proactively monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, indexes, and database configurations.
