Purpose We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer with strong analytical skills and a product-oriented mindset to join our multidisciplinary teams. At BetWarrior , we are evolving toward a Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and Given-When-Then / Behavior-Driven Development (GDD/BDD) approach. In this model, without traditional Business Analysts, the Backend team plays a key role: leading the initial technical analysis based on Product requirements, establishing the conversation with the Frontend team, and defining contracts, models, and interactions before writing a single line of code. In this role, you'll Lead Technical analysis and SDD. Take the lead in defining functional and technical specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger, data models, sequence/state diagrams). Produce clear documentation both for Product stakeholders and for the technical team to operate and maintain the solution. Act as a communication bridge within the team. Work in small, autonomous squads, actively collaborating with Product, UX, and Frontend to align on endpoints
