The Opportunity We’re looking for a Senior DataOps Engineer to help operate, scale, and improve the data platforms that support Oportun ’s analytics, engineering, and business teams. This role will focus on Databricks, AWS, data pipelines, databases, observability, automation, and production support. You’ll be responsible for keeping critical data-platform services reliable, secure, performant, and cost-effective while partnering closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, Security, Cloud Infrastructure, Database, and application teams. Success in this role means improving platform reliability, reducing operational friction, strengthening automation, and helping teams resolve issues quickly and sustainably.
