About the company: Your role: As the Lead Unreal Engine Programmer, you will take strategic and operational leadership of the Programming Department while keeping a solid, hands-on understanding of Unreal Engine 5 and C++. You are responsible for shaping the technical vision, ensuring efficient workflows, and guiding a team of programmers to create high-quality Double-A games for PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch. Your leadership will drive innovation, foster cross-departmental collaboration, and ensure the successful delivery of our projects in line with Aesir’s long-term goals. Set the technical direction of our projects, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with industry best practices. Oversee testing strategies (Unit, Smoke, Integration, Feature, and Functional Tests) to safeguard quality. Coach, mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and innovation. Coordinate and collaborate closely with other departments (Art, Design, Tech-Art, QA) to enable the integration of new features and enhancements.
