Description

As the Principal Architect, Healthcare at Rackspace Technology, you will own the hands-on resilience and disaster recovery architecture for Rackspace's healthcare customer estate, designing DR tiering, failover, and continuity solutions for clinical and PHI-bearing workloads, including Epic, Cerner, and other EHR and clinical platforms. You will act as the technical escalation point for the most complex DR and resilience challenges across the Healthcare Vertical, provide architecture input to Deal Gate submissions triggered by architecture deviation or DR gap, and supply the technical evidence behind the Healthcare Delivery Assurance Office's readiness reviews. You will pair deep infrastructure and resilience architecture expertise with significant, direct healthcare systems experience, working closely with the Healthcare Infrastructure, Epic Operations & Applications, and Healthcare Architecture pods. Work Location and Travel : United States of America - Candidates who live in the San Antonio, TX area will work a hybrid schedule with two days in the office. - If you are not located near San Antonio, TX, this position may be worked 100% from home. - Travel up to 10% per business requirements for on-site customer engagements .
