Description

Accountabilities - As a Senior Java Developer, you will take ownership of backend development and data service delivery, ensuring that systems remain scalable, reliable, and efficient. Your main responsibilities will include: Design, develop, and maintain backend services built on top of a large-scale data platform. - Build and optimize data processing workflows for both batch and streaming use cases. - Leverage AWS services, including S3, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis, Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, and SQS, to support cloud-native data solutions. - Collaborate with product teams and key stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions. - Develop and maintain APIs, data models, and data integration processes to ensure reliable data access and processing. - Document technical architectures, APIs, data workflows, and operational procedures to support maintainability and knowledge sharing. - Contribute to the performance, scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement of backend and data-intensive systems. - Requirements The ideal candidate is a hands-on backend engineer with strong Java development skills, solid database expertise, and practical experience building data-intensive applications in AWS environments. You should be comfortable working independently in a remote setting, communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and delivering solutions within a fast-paced engagement.
