About the Role ELITS Canada is looking for an experienced Azure API Engineer for a remote consulting assignment based in Canada . In this role, you will support the continued development of an Integration Hub built on Microsoft Azure API Management (APIM) and full stack , with the goal of evolving the platform into a modern internal developer platform . You will combine hands on engineering with technical ownership across API management, developer portals, cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform improvement. Responsibilities Configure, maintain, and enhance Microsoft Azure API Management (APIM) , including API onboarding, backend integrations, routing, gateway policies, and traffic controls. Implement and maintain API authentication , authorization, security, and lifecycle management practices. Develop, customize, and maintain full stack as the central developer portal for the Integration Hub. Manage API catalog entries, documentation, ownership information, metadata, and integrations across connected systems. Build automated API specifica
