Sr. Kubernetes Platform Engineer Austin TX Silicon Labs in Austin, Texas is seeking a motivated Sr. Kubernetes Platform Engineer to help define, build, operate, and lifecycle-manage the infrastructure, tools, and platforms required for our organization to operate at scale. This role spans both on-premises and cloud environments, with responsibilities across Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD, identity, observability, cost management, and developer enablement. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience owning CNCF and open-source infrastructure in production, including upgrades, troubleshooting, automation, and long-term maintainability. This is an engineering ownership role, not a support-escalation role; success requires the ability to understand, operate, and improve the platforms we depend on while collaborating closely with software and IT teams and supporting AI/ML initiatives.
