Our LATAM teams work directly with client engineering teams on complex, high-impact projects. Software Mind is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Data Engineering team of one of our clients, a company in the advertising and retail technology space. You’ll be the go-to expert for reporting, dashboards, and data visualization, turning data into clear stories for product and business teams.Main ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, test, and publish dashboards, metrics, and reports that meet business needs for internal and external usersWork with stakeholders to standardize data and metric definitions and recommend new metrics and strategiesDeliver high-quality, analysis-ready datasets by integrating internal and external data sourcesMonitor data for anomalies and help increase visibility of outages and system issuesPartner with data engineers to understand upstream data changes and update dependent BI solutionsEnable business users to self-serve through the tools you buildIdentify process improvements to create more scalable, automated reportingParticipate in peer reviews, QA activities, and Agile ceremoniesSupport onboarding of new team members Requirements5+ years of experience with BI tools such as Domo, Tableau, Power BI, or LookerExperience with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery)Strong SQL skills, including data model
