Description

Who You Are You enjoy designing and implementing secure, high performance network topologies for Internet-facing SaaS applications. You can conduct security assessments and make recommendations on networks with multiple VLANs, DMZ, point-to-point connections between our data centers, WAFs, and Internet connectivity for a SaaS application. You can configure and upgrade Dell switches, routers and PAN firewalls. You know how to conduct incident triage and response, including working with firewall and device logs, investigating security events, and protecting the forensic value of data. You can improve and extend monitoring for better incident reporting and response. You embrace the ethic of “network as code” to provide consistency and security for both Public Cloud and data center deployments. You hold yourself to a high standard when writing clean, performant, and maintainable code for deployments and configuration management. You enjoy finding new ways to improve the design, performance, and testing of the network systems that you deploy and operate. You care deeply about both your work and your team. You are a top performer who is effective in mentoring other engineers and in communicating with other technical specialties.
