Infrastructure / Systems Operations Engineer (Junior to Mid) Company: ZIGChain ZIGChain is building a Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure focused on security, scalability and interoperability to unlock financial opportunities for everyone. Their mission is transparent, decentralized systems that drive financial freedom. Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain Linux, AWS, and blockchain-node infrastructure day-to-day. - Own routine administration, monitoring, troubleshooting of services and networking. - Contribute to infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and grow ownership over time. - Support blockchain node operations across the ecosystem. - Automate recurring tasks and diagnostics via scripting. - Keep systems secure, patched, and running smoothly. Requirements: - Linux administration: CLI fluency, systemd, package management, log analysis and troubleshooting. - Bash scripting for automation and diagnostics. - Working knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, ELB/ALB). - Terraform: authored and applied configs; understand state and plan/apply cycle. - Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, firewalls/security groups. - Git experience with branch/commit/PR workflow. - Strong credential and access hygiene (SSH keys, least-privilege IAM, secrets out of code). Nice to have: - Advanced Terraform (modules, remote state, multi-environment setups). - Blockchain node experience (Cosmos or other chains). - Docker; Kubernetes exposure. - Monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana). - Python for tooling, CI/CD exposure.
