S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in developing and modernizing enterprise applications that improve operational efficiency and support critical business functions. In this role, you'll join a collaborative Agile engineering team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud-native applications. You'll work alongside software engineers, architects, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver modern software solutions that improve enterprise systems and user experiences. What You'll Do As a member of an Agile Scrum team, you'll design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications supporting CBP systems. You'll work across the full software development lifecycle to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software while collaborating closely with engineers, architects, product owners, and stakeholders. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications supporting both legacy modernization and new development initiatives. Build scalable backend services using Python, Java, and Spring Boot. Develop responsive, modern user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, Angular Material, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Design and consume RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture. Develop applications within Linux containerized environments. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, testing, demonstrations, and production releases. Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, stakeholders, and end users throughout the software development lifecycle. Enhance existing applications through performance optimization, feature enhancements, and technical modernization. Develop reusable libraries, components, and services that improve maintainability and scalability. Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team. Analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative, scalable solutions. Help ensure software quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
