Description

Engineer Full-time/Company: Soter Labs Soter Labs runs end-to-end governance and risk operations for the Sky ecosystem, a large decentralized capital allocation system in DeFi. The team provides decision-making support, process execution, security and monitoring, and offers a small senior team with high autonomy and direct exposure to Sky Core and ecosystem partners. Responsibilities: - Research and propose an approach for monitoring all smart contract types across the ecosystem, including L2 deployments - Implement the monitoring framework and iterate with Sky Core devs and external partners - Collaborate with risk teams to define response processes and operate/evolve monitoring over time - Manage deployment and monitoring of vaults holding hundreds of millions of dollars - Execute parameter changes driven by governance requests and take on further scoped projects Requirements: - Eagerness to contribute to the Sky ecosystem and willingness to grow within it - First-principles problem solver who proactively identifies gaps and proposes improvements - 5+ years software engineering experience, with production EVM/smart contract work - Solidity fluency and deep understanding of EVM security patterns (access control, oracles, upgradeability, cross-chain/L2 messaging) - Comfort owning high-value production systems where mistakes are expensive and irreversible Nice to have: - Prior experience with smart contract risk analysis in high-stakes environments - Experience with L2 infrastructure (OP Stack, Arbitrum) and bridge/messaging security Stack: Solidity, Foundry/Hardhat, TypeScript, Tenderly, Safe (multisig-based ops) Benefits: - $120K–$200K base - Bonuses paid in cash or SKY tokens - High-autonomy, high-support team with investment in long-term growth 📩 Apply
