Embark on a transformative journey as a Senior Blockchain Engineer VP – Digital Assets. At Barclays, our vision is clear –to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. In this role, you will join a team working at the ground floor of a 0-to-1 build. You will help design, build, and operate the blockchain infrastructure that powers Barclays next-generation Digital Assets Platform. This role focuses on deploying and managing institutional-grade blockchain networks and connectivity services that support crypto assets such as tokenized deposits, stablecoins, tokenized securities, and other regulated digital asset use cases. You will work across permissioned and open blockchain ecosystems, delivering resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure while partnering closely with engineering, architecture, security, and platform teams to integrate blockchain capabilities into Barclays broader technology landscape. br> br>To be successful as a Senior Blockchain Engineer VP – Digital Assets, you should have: br> br> br> ul> li>Experience building, deploying, and operating production blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Solana, Besu, and /or other EVM-compatible technologies /li> li>Practical expertise configuring and managing blockchain network infrastructure, including bootnodes, validators, RPC services, peer management, consensus mechanisms, permissioning frameworks, and node lifecycle operations /li> li>Demonstrate experience integrating and operating conn
