Data Platform Lead, Remote We are looking for Data Platform Lead to own their end-to-end data infrastructure that should be supporting a new mobile game with the ambition of reaching hundreds of millions of users and processing billions of events every day. For which tasks (responsibilities)? 🌸Define and own the end-to-end architecture of the data platform. 🌸Make, document, and defend key technology decisions, balancing scalability, cost, and team capacity. 🌸Partner with game, analytics, and marketing leadership to turn business needs into a platform roadmap with clear priorities and SLAs. 🌸Build core parts of the platform hands-on. 🌸Hire, mentor and grow the data engineering team. 🌸Establish engineering practices, review culture, and operational discipline What kind of professional are we looking for? 💦7+ years in Data Engineering, including 2+ years as a tech lead or architect, with a track record of designing data platforms end-to-end. 💦Strong architectural judgment, clear design documentation, and the ability to defend decisions in review. 💦Expertise in cloud platforms, preferably AWS (S3, Kinesis, ECS, Athena etc), and modern data stack tools (dbt). 💦Hands-on experience with ETL orchestration (Airflow or similar). 💦Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and analytics best practices — schema design, partitioning, versioning, etc. 💦Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure as code. 💦Proficiency in Python and strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL. 💦Experience hiring, mentoring, and growing engineers. 💦Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
