Role: Data Architect (Snowflake) Salary : £100,000-£115,000 + Bonus Location: London or Countrywide Flexible working: 1 day per month in the office The Opportunity A leading organisation is going through a major digital transformation, moving away from legacy technology and building a modern, cloud-first data estate from the ground up. We're looking for a Data Architect with strong Snowflake experience to play a key role in shaping the future Data Strategy, Data Products and AI capabilities. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join at the start of a major transformation programme, with significant exposure to modern technology and the ability to make a real impact. you'll be doing Own and shape the Data Architecture and Data Strategy, helping define how data is used across the organisation. Design and evolve a modern Snowflake-based data platform, working across Data Products, data modelling, governance and integration. Work closely with Data Engineering, Data Governance, Product Owners and business stakeholders to turn complex requirements into scalable data solutions. Horizon-scan emerging technologies and identify opportunities to leverage AI, Snowflake Cortex and modern data capabilities. Establish architecture standards, patterns and principles while helping build the Data capability from the ground up. What we're looking for Strong commercial experience as a Data Architect / Data Solutions Architect. Deep Snowflake experience is essential - this is the key technology within the role. Strong understanding of modern data architecture, data modelling and cloud data platforms. Experience with Data Products, Data Governance and modern data engineering practices. Experience working within a transformation programme and ideally taking an organisation from a relatively immature data environment to a modern data capability. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - you'll need to be comfortable working with both technical and business audiences.
