Bonus points if you have good taste in music! The Role Engineering at Sonar sits at the intersection of AI, finance, and infrastructure. You’ll be designing systems that power AI-driven fund diligence and portfolio management for institutional investors. You’ll work across the stack, from distributed systems and scalable data ingestion pipelines to AI agents and reporting interfaces that LPs rely on daily. e. you’ll be figuring out a ton of things with us), enjoys thinking from first principles, and wants to build durable systems that reimagine how capital allocators evaluate and invest. Responsibilities Build core systems from the ground up. Design and implement the foundations of Sonar’s product—from scalable APIs and distributed data pipelines to intuitive interfaces that bring complex information to life. Work across the stack. You’ll move between backend services, frontend components, and infrastructure, shipping features end-to-end. Apply AI pragmatically. Develop, evaluate, and productionize LLM-based features that make complex analysis simpler
